Prepare your settings
Open Labelklar in Shopify. Choose which labels to display, a compact or expanded initial view, and the outer spacing. Enable the product display and save your settings.
The display language can follow your storefront or use a fixed language. A fallback applies to unsupported storefront languages. EU artwork is available in 24 official EU languages; administration is available in German and English. The preview uses a sample product and does not change any product guarantees.
Place the block in your theme
Open Online Store → Themes → Customize and select a product template. In a suitable section, add the Gewährleistung & GARAN block from Apps. The section must support Shopify app blocks.
Place the block near the purchase area and save the theme. Check each product template on desktop and mobile: the compact notice should be visible and open the full information on the first click or tap. Changes to an unpublished theme become public only when that theme is published.
Set up GARAN for eligible products
In Labelklar, find the product under Products and open its GARAN details. Enter the producer or brand, model identifier, guarantee period and a public HTTPS link to the guarantee terms.
Enable GARAN only when producer documentation confirms eligibility: a free producer guarantee covering the entire product for more than two years, with information supplied by the producer. Labelklar currently supports whole guarantee periods from 3 to 99 years. The app validates input but does not establish guarantee entitlements.
Confirm the details, enable GARAN for the product and save. Then check the artwork, expanded view and terms link in the storefront. Different guarantees per product variant and automatic generation of a guarantee statement are not currently included.
Legal guarantee information at checkout
On Shopify Plus, you can also display the legal guarantee notice at checkout. Enable the checkout display in Labelklar settings and save. Then open Settings → Checkout → Configurations, customize a configuration and add the Labelklar Checkout block from Apps. Check the preview and publish the configuration when it is ready.
The checkout display is initially disabled and independent of the product display. Shopify makes extensions to information, shipping and payment steps available only to Plus stores.
This extension concerns the legal guarantee notice. GARAN at checkout, thank-you and order-status pages, and order confirmations are not currently included. Before activation, verify the display and all purchase flows relevant to your store.
If a label is missing
Check that the product display and the relevant label are enabled and saved. The app block must be present in the product template actually in use. GARAN also requires complete, valid and confirmed details for the product.
The administration language and storefront display language are separate settings. Reload the product page after changes and check a mobile view as well.
Contact and deactivation
For support, include your shop domain, product URL, theme, language and a short description of the issue. Do not send passwords, access tokens or customer data. A cropped screenshot can help us understand the issue.
To hide the display, disable it in Labelklar. To remove the integration, delete the app blocks from your product templates and uninstall the app in Shopify. App data processing is covered by the separate app privacy notice.
